What Can Command Palette Find?

Command Palette uses Flow's shared search system.

Depending on the search, results can include:

  • Flow tools and commands
  • Native Revit commands
  • Indexed library content

Flow searches more than the displayed command name, allowing aliases, keywords, descriptions and categories to help find relevant results.

Search by what you remember

You do not need to know the exact command or content name.

Start typing the most recognisable part of what you are looking for and refine the search if required.

Command Palette or Flow Hub?

Both Command Palette and Flow Hub use Flow's command and search infrastructure, but they support different ways of working.

Which should I use?

Use Command Palette when you want a floating, search-focused interface that can be opened when required.

Use Flow Hub when you want search, pinned and recent items, content access and workspace controls to remain available in a docked Revit panel.

See Flow Hub.
