Flow Hub¶
The Flow Hub provides a central location for finding and launching Flow tools, native Revit commands and library content while you work in Revit.
It can remain docked in the Revit interface and also provides quick access to pinned and recent items, saved workspace layouts and selected Visibility Manager controls.
Open Flow Hub¶
On the Revit ribbon:
Flow → Workspace → Hub
The Flow Hub opens as a dockable Revit panel.
You can dock it alongside other Revit panels, such as Properties or the Project Browser, or leave it floating.
What do you want to do?¶
🔍 Find and Run a Tool¶
Search for Flow tools and native Revit commands, then launch the required command directly from the Hub.
📚 Find and Load Content¶
Search the indexed Revit content library for families, catalogue families and drafting/detail content.
Content can be loaded into the active project or opened in the Content Browser for further review.

📌 Access Pinned and Recent Items¶
Keep frequently used commands readily available and quickly return to commands or content you have recently used.
🖥️ Access Workspace Controls¶
Restore saved workspace layouts, recover windows and control up to three preferred Visibility Manager settings directly from the Hub.
🛠️ Having Problems?¶
Find help if a command or content item cannot be found, a workspace cannot be restored, or a Hub control is not behaving as expected.
When No Search Is Active¶
When the Search box is clear, Flow Hub provides quick access to your available commands through:
- Quick Actions
- Pinned
- Recent
- Browse
Use these sections to access commonly used commands without needing to search for them.
Search when you know what you need
Start typing when you know roughly what you are looking for.
Flow Hub searches more than just Flow command names, so you can also use it to find native Revit commands and indexed library content.
Flow Hub or Command Palette?¶
Both Flow Hub and Command Palette provide quick access to commands.
Use Flow Hub when you want a persistent docked interface with search, pinned and recent items, content access and workspace controls.
Use Command Palette when you want a floating, search-focused command launcher that can be opened when required.
See Command Palette.
Docking Flow Hub¶
Flow Hub is a Revit dockable panel and can be positioned to suit your normal working environment.
Its position can also be included when using Flow Workspace tools to save and restore workspace layouts.
See Workspace.
