Project Parameters¶
Not currently available
General project-parameter management is not included in the current Parameters Manager interface.
Parameters Manager presently focuses on project-side Opening Global Parameters and the workflows that use them.
Current Parameters Manager Scope¶
The available project workflows include:
- Reviewing the Opening GP Dashboard
- Editing supported Global Parameter values
- Reviewing, copying and removing GP associations
- Auditing association counts on selected elements
- Applying window and door GP standards
- Importing missing office-standard GPs
- Finding and deleting apparently unused opening GPs
- Starting the Fix Keynotes batch workflow
- Opening Revit's native Global Parameters editor
These workflows operate on Global Parameters and their associations. They do not provide a general interface for creating, binding, renaming, editing or removing arbitrary Revit Project Parameters.
Working with Project Parameters¶
For general Project Parameter operations, continue to use Revit's native project-parameter tools or the approved office workflow.
Do not use the Opening GP Dashboard as a complete inventory of Project Parameters. The dashboard contains Global Parameters within its opening-focused scope, not ordinary Revit Project Parameter bindings.
Future Development¶
Broader project-parameter inspection and editing may be added to Parameters Manager in a future release.
Until a dedicated workflow appears in the Parameters Manager window, this page should be treated as an availability notice rather than instructions for an implemented tool.
