Reviewing a Current Project¶
Project Setup can inspect the current Revit project and identify project setup items that are complete, incomplete, or require attention.
This provides a single place to review the setup state of a project.
Opening the Current Project Workflow¶
Open the Revit project that you want to review.
Then go to:
Flow → Project → Setup
Select Current Project.
Project Inspection¶
Project Setup inspects supported areas of the current project and compares them with the expected Flow project configuration.
The results are presented within the Project Setup window.
Items may be reported as:
- Complete
- Incomplete
- Requires attention
Inspection does not change the project
Reviewing a current project checks its setup and reports what is complete or requires attention.
Changes are only made when you choose to apply the relevant setup action.
Project Information¶
Review the project's stored information and update values where required.
Worksets¶
Check the current project's worksets against the expected office-standard configuration.
Missing worksets can be identified and created through the Project Setup workflow.
Worksharing
Workset inspection is only available for workshared Revit projects.
If the current project is not workshared, workset setup cannot be inspected or applied.

Project Folders¶
Check the required project folder locations and identify folder structures that already exist or still need to be created.
Individual target locations can be selected before creating folders.
Refreshing the Inspection¶
If changes have been made outside Project Setup, refresh the project inspection to update the displayed status.
This ensures the Project Setup window reflects the current state of the Revit project and associated project resources.
Made a change outside Project Setup?
Use Refresh after making changes directly in Revit or to associated project resources.
This updates the inspection results without needing to close and reopen Project Setup.
